There is only one way to make a real SriLanka again, It's simply not by changing the Chief Executive from one crook to another.
I have always maintained that the only way to do this is by privatising the damned President to the Parliament.
We pay top dollar to the world's foremost top execs, just only 10 of them needed - but they should NOT be of SriLankan origin. We can straighten out the entire state machinery. No need to pay 200 donkeys salaries, perks and pensions who mess up everything.
Since this will not happen, the other option is at least to have a good judiciary. Get judges from the west, replace the rascals. Our judges work in PNG and some other countries - what's wrong with that?
As long as we have an independent judiciary the Executive can be straightened.
Sadly from the Executive to the Judiciary is bloody corrupt. It's just wishful thinking that we can develop.
