its not only the UNP who can improve the sri lankan economy. it shud b a collective effort by everyone in da government and also should have a good economic policy and good relationships with foreign nations.
if u hav 100 ministers and 75 of them are not doing their work properly but pocketing the money received for development works and a bad economic policy and un neccessary expenditure lyk buying a 500 room luxury hotel or starting up a unsuccessfull airline service and then restarting it with 600million debt is not wat i consider good economic policy. and having good relationships with foreign nation you will pretty well know the situation dats actually happening if u watch at least one other news programme apart from rupavahini, channel eye or ITN and read at least one other newspaper that is not owned by the government.
