Yeah, maybe the law is not really approved, but GPS devices are kind of black listed by authorities... My thoughts exactly, I mean using a GPS is no more a security threat than using a mobile phone... What exactly can a terrorist do with a GPS ? Okey, you can find GPS coordinates of a particular location, but you can easily do that using google earth or by doing a bit of calculations on a MAP, DUH !!. Lets assume somehow you got the exact GPS coordinates of a target "using a GPS device", then what ?? I don't think LTTE had GPS guided missiles or anything sophisticated like that. So what is this fuss all about ? All other countries are freely using it.
