Law harass people of Sri Lanka

The law in this country has started to harassing the people of this country.

The law system in Sri Lanka drawn by people in the current government who do not know what its like to live in the country, as they are benefited with all the facilities by the people's money. The current law system is on it way to creating a little Egypt in Sri Lanka.

My mother was fined for crossing the road near a pedestal crossing. She is suffering for acute arthritis and osteoporosis. She doesn't use the pedestal crossing as she tends to use the most direct path from Home to Office (least pain).

So does this law mean she must suffer more? This is idiotic. Just because the main players behind making Sri Lanka into England use to be in the army and fit as one does that mean their thoughts count towards the country future? This is idiotic and pathetic. Shame on everyone.

A law without exceptions is a country without Humans

your argument is not fair bro.. coz not only ur mom but there are plenty of ppl cross da road vth out any discipline. im not a fan of most of da government moves.. but this i hv to give them a applaud..this will stop lot of un wanted accidents.. its a good thing..

but in other hand.. there are much important things to do in this country..lol

There should be a special exceptions for disabled people. I too am a acute asma patient (I can't walk much without drugs). This is like the car law "Don't park".... Where to park?. There should be law implementation judgment committee before all of this.

Also, the governments point is "In USA people abide the law"... here is the problem "Sri Lankan's are not US people" US people eat healthy (they eat bread not rice) and live a healthy life style. I have some US friends who live off their grandmothers! 86, 73 years and they is still working and earning 4000, 2800USD per month respectively.

Sri Lanka <> US! Government idiots must understand that before implementing laws. Has the government forgotten that over 60% of the country is old?

Just because the people behind these new laws are fit, doesn't mean others in the country should die... I'd say they are narrow minded people rich from people's money so much that they want to shit at the people so they can show off saying "We made the country England!"... then someone will ask "Where are all the people?"... they will say "they are not worth living... they are all dead! Yay! for the Government!"

I agree, a country without humans is a paradise!
