Assistant lec 120i, mage cousin yanawa. Sliit. No msc, no PhD, just around 5 papers published. No previous exp either.

Experience nattan 220+

Dn inna civil Dean 1M+

60ta wadi rata ehema experience tiana aya innaw sliit eke 2.5M ganna.

Most of the private universities are low balling. Last year ACBT was offering 2200 for per hour for visiting lecturers in their foundation program.

One of my friend's mom works as a civil engineering lecturer in icbt he said shes getting around 2500 per working hour

I don't know about the ACBT. But in SLIIT, they are paying quite good for the lecturers specially with good research background (H index > 10)

අ‍ා සොරි වැරදුණා. මම කිව්වෙ visiting lecturer. එ‍් ගාණ තමයි ෂුවර්.

As stated in comments herein, SLIIT should have been paying higher salaries. I have seen the E Fac staff and damn, they got some of the best portion of Gov universities (including the best Geotechnical Engineer I have associated with, who was the former Dean of E Fac, SLIIT).

Depends on uni and your scope of work.

Visiting Lec - Paid on Hourly rate - ranged from 3000+
Full time - you'll have to negotiate, compared to your subject, your expertise, qualifications, your commitment etc and the grade they are going to settle you in..
