Maybe i should be more clear.....i know the Bible and most holy books talk OF peace...and tell men/women to love...and to be peaceful etc....

But Islam is the ONLY religion that tells men/women HOW to be at peace....and how to lead a more loving and humble life by example....

64:12 Obey God then and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away (no blame shall attach to our Messenger), for the duty of Our Messenger is just to deliver the message.

67:25, 26 And they ask, "When shall the promise be fulfilled if you speak the Truth?" Say, "The knowledge of it is verily with God alone, and verily I am but a plain warner."

60:8 Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.

60:9 Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.

These are small examples.....there is too many to be posting it here......there is Good and Bad in this world...and Islam is also the only religion that separates the two....and makes men understand when it is ok to fight against the bad in the world in a way it will not be repeated unnecessarily.....

There is Good and Bad in everything in this world.....that is what Muslims believe....and we believe that God created it that way.....so what kind of God would ignore the bad things in this world and not talk about it....?

So yes the Quran does have details on bad things...and sometimes says that to get a needle out you have to use needles so that less people will suffer....

I agree...the Quran was given not to only blindly read but to also think....but just like every region out there Islam too is corrupted now by greedy people.... Muslims like me fight that everyday at mosques and in gatherings to try and change peoples thinking....

I also have to show you a way of Muslims thinking....we Muslims believe in heaven and hell...if someone does wrong in earth they will go to hell..including Muslims....but God also rewards people to struggle and suffer on earth because they are patient on earth....

So if someone does wrong...like stealing....then if the person wants to stop going to hell for that sin they can have many options they can ask forgiveness from God....pay "blood money"....they an also feed the poor......but some people want to show God how much they love him and not go to hell...by agreeing to have their hands cut as a redemption....

but the bad curropted regimes that have taken over Islam...force these rules to "punish" these peoples....which is not allowed....these kinds of savage punishmnets must be requested by the victims or the person who did the crime...not the government or the judge....

these laws may seem savage to you...but they are used to stop others from doing wrong by scaring them (remind they will suffer in hell by showing savage punishment on earth)....and to help these people feel less guilty and to give the victims also some relief....

If someone rapes one of your family member....they will suffer for life....but according to sri lankan laws...the raper will only go to prison for a while and be free to rape again?...what if we scare them with Islamic laws?.....not by forcing (but victims can ask for them)...but by showing it can happen?....
