Dear friends,
I am very pleased to address this letter to you and firstly I wish to thank you for joining "A Helping hand". We are a group of friends who want to make a difference in Sri Lanka and do our social duty to the make a change in the lives of the less privileged, the poor and the needy.
It is indeed very encouraging to note that we already have 75 members. Let us join hands to pursue this endeavour and make that change to be felt by e everyone. We hope that you will be with us and help us along with our projects.
Our first project would be to collect and distribute stationary (exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers and colored pencils). We will distribute these to a school where less privileged children study.
We can start collecting little by little, one pencil, one book and whatever is given and not necessarily look for large donations. Even one pen or one book would make a difference in a needy child's life.
