In 3 months you can claim for hospital coverage for pregnancy complexions not for child birth. if the baby taken out as a result of complexion hospital charges will be paid off
Well , this statement is bit confusing for me.
When it come to the insurance claims, the root cause matters. Also, the pre-existing conditions does not cover under the policy. So what if the lady is pregnant at the time of taking the cover and she suffers a complexity in 3 months ? or 6 Months ?
In my opinion, though she is eligible for hospitalization, taking child out due to a complexion comes under the claims related to maternity section. So, the waiting period applicable for the maternity claims section is still in force, and the settlement of the claim would be subjective.
Please get it clarified from your agent or if you have the policy with you, please check whether policy does have an additional condition to overrule the maternity exclusion / waiting period.
If you have the policy document with you and if you could share a copy, without your personal info, i can vet it for you when time permits.
