That was those days that Linux was command driven and not much attention was given to user interface design. Now with Distro like Ubuntu, they have become more friendly and penetrated into the Desktop user market as well. Specially with Developments like Compiz/Beryl, it leaves Vista miles behind.

Believe me, If u used to work with linux u'll never go back to Windows. Who want to give up Ferrari and drive a Maruti when thay can have a Ferrari

1000000% sure.....I'm using linux from garde 9.....my favourite ir Mandrake(now mandriva),Knoppix(Ubuntu SUX)
Gentoo seems to better but it failed to install once....(needed to compile by hand... ,so maxxxxxxxxxxa)
