guys, kawru hari dannawada Codings walin ma operate karanna puluwan linux version ekak?? i mean mouse eken click nokara commands type karalama use karanna puluwan linux version ekak???? plz try to find........... tanx

    machan oya hema version ekama wage ehema codes ude karala weda karanna puluwan...4 an example,,.ubuntu ,kubuntu,mandreva ...wage okkoma ehema puluwan..for goto consol mode you hav to press Alt+Ctrl+F2
    and if you want to come bach to the graphical mode...u hav to press Alt+Ctrl+F7

    all linux distributions got that capability. just like dos, you have to fire up the console or the terminal. you can find it in the menu. then you can give terminal commands to do things. the graphical things you see on linux os is the desktop environment (GNOME,KDE,XFCE,ETC :D )

    if you want it to be fully terminal based os, uninstall the Desktop Environment and then it will boot up with the command line. but i suggest you to not to do that! cos its kina difficult thing. (note:simply uninstalling DE will do not do the job at some occations, you will have to do some settings )

    every linux operating systems have this capability... Desktop Environment is only a optional feature. but new linux distributions contains Desktop Environment. seems like you don't know about linux. because this is only a small and common thing in linux OS. so i think you shoud not uninstall the DE. for your own good.
