Looking for a Yamaha WR250X

why r u looking only for a WR250X? You can go for a Tracker, TW225, TTR, Tricker, etc.....

All of those bikes has strengths in different divisions. But WR250X has all in one and lot more! Its a Official Supermoto directly from Yamaha. Factory made and even gear ratios are made for road and super moto. Road disc brakes which perform and looks superb.
Its totally different than converting a normal Dirt bike to a supermoto with aftermarket mods like others.

Other than that WRX has EFI (Fuel injection), Aluminum light weight frame, road suspension, lot of power from small 250 engine than most of other bikes. bigger and looks way cool than any other super moto in my opinion.

Very low maintenance on WRX compared to others. It only needs valve intervals in every 26,000Kms as i remember. Very reliable and powerful.

I am only thinking about Suzuki DRZ400 but its heavy steel frame not aluminum and no EFI (crab), suspension not that good, not much fun as light weight and very powerful WRX, and if you mod or unrestrict WRX you can come near to the power of a 400 DRZ. And DRZ not looking cool too.

Like that i can tell tons... all over the world they tell good things about WRX here only ppl go after honda for everything. Its like Toyota madness for cars in Sri Lanka.

sounds like you have studied alot about this..!
but dnt you feel 6 - 7 laks too much...? just asking.

I am not goona pay 7 laks for this but 5.5 - 6.x for showroom condition bike is worthy when you pay even 4-5 laks for other old models or new models of other bikes.
So difference is around 1 lak more but you get..

light aluminum chassis
EFI (Fuel injected)
Yamaha officially made supermoto with 6 speed gear box, road gear ratios, suspension, brakes etc..
more powerful and low maintenance engine
Titanium intake valves, EXUP (Exhaust Ultimate Power Valve) and electronically controlled intake valve
Superb killer looking stylish bike
Can unrestrict it and get lot of power with very basic mods. Even a Turbo KIT is possible if you wanna go extreme (I am not planning to go that extreme on mods)
etc..
so much for that price difference.

KTM and many Europe bikes are popular for light weight performance. WRX meets that too.
Personally I will choose WRX over KTM.

So that's so much for nearly 1lak difference.
