Hi!

Has anyone seen above average PC casings in any local computer stores? I mean with extra fans or ventilation options or bottom-mountable PSU etc?

Thanks.

On a bynote, last night I ordered these on Newegg. (Can't help but brag)
AMD Phenom II 940 CPU
MSI DKA790GX Platinum mobo
Noctua NH-U12P Cooler
BFG Tech ES-800 PSU

AND.... EVGA Nvidia GTX 295 Video Card
Will be about a couple of weeks before I can get this stuff down (fingers crossed). Will put up more details then.

Thanks man. I went for the GTX 295 coz in all the benchies (except 3DMark 06) it beat the 4870X2. It was in fact the toughest decision. Also PhysX support made me decide in favor Nividia. Won't be able to SLI on this board, but don't think I'll need to.
Gonna be playing at 1920x1200 native res. Besides, thr's the onboard ATI HD3300 if I really need a Radeon. lolz.

I don't believe Dx 10.1 has more life in it,since Win7 is on the way and Stalker Benchies were only (almost) favorable for the X2, besides it even failed to give playable frame rates.. :D
4870x2 's whopping 2GB Ram will come in to play beyond HD resolution,, but this guy is gaming on a HD panel.. so nothing to worry about that..
OK back to topic, BloodLust : I just remembered, eglobe solutions ppl has a server casing, it's spacious enough I think. Contact Thenura for more information if you want, he recently bought one.. :D

I hadn't seen that review. Shucks! Maybe shud've gone for the Asus 4870X2.
Anyways, guess it ain't so bad coz the GTX 295 is till ahead in many cases.
And with the GeForce 181.20 drivers released yesterday, things can only get better.
Anyhow, this is a moot point unless I'm to cancel the order.

I got everything on newegg.com, and shipped 'em to my cuz in US. So you can find the prices there. Gettin 'em down to SL will be the problem tho. Most probably gonna use Aramex, since they have the cheapest rates. You may wanna look at Aramex Shop & Ship serivce. Looks very reasonable.

Thanks for the info. The casing needs to be wide enough to accommodate the Noctua NH-U12P.
Whr is the e-globe shop? At Unity Plaza?

Btw, I don't need a PSU. Preferably just the casing. A BFG Tech ES-800 is on the way.
Do Singer Mega stores sell the Asus Vento? I vaguely recall seeing one somewhere.
