LTTE terrorists target public transport bus in bomb blast- Monaragala
LTTE terrorists have exploded a bomb targeting a public transport bus that was plying from buttala to okkampitiya this morning. According to the available information the bus was transporting a large no of schoolchildren.

As per the police sources the bomb explosion has taken place in the Weliara, 3rd mile post in Okkampitiya around 7.40 am today (16 January). It is said that more than 50 injured personnel are being rushed to the monaragala hospital and the Buttala hospital.

Nearly 15 feared dead, nearly 50 injured




Nearly 15 people have died in the bomb explosion in Okkampitiya and nearly 50 are injured. Of the wounded the condition of nearly 30 is critical.

but defence.lk i have noticed doesnt tell it correctly...even D.M it said was admitted to hospital with minor injuries...
