Mac mini not booting...

computer is running slow. I restart it and it shows apple logo then belowthatit shows a status loading bar. it starts loading something then gets about 5% into it and computer shuts down. try powering it up but same result. I then hold the command R during startup to reload os x lion. it works but when I try to select the hard dick it faded and says disk is locked. I have computer plugged in, shows power light and I have an Internet connection via Ethernet. connection is live. I shut down computer for a whole still same result. help!

start the mac in safe mode by holding the shift key if you have a keyboard attached.

gimme a clear idea on your setup.
