Personally I like Marxism...

It consider both ends of the spectrum as a positivist as well as a interpretivist and takes all the plus points placing the philosophy right in the middle of the spectrum.

And you can't compare Marxism with Democracy. Because Democracy is the main theme.. and the two subsets of it are Liberal democracy and Marxist democracy.

Marxsists believe that the Liberal democracy is not at all democratic due to the nature of capital dictatorship (Like in Sri Lanka). Which, in other words..., Capital state cannot be Democratic simply due to the nature of the system.
