    It`s ok as long as there`s a proper legal framework behind it.

    We live in times where a savings account would offer around 5% annual interest in Australia.

    So a risky investment like this should at least double that, say 10% annual return as an absolute minimum. The management costs involved in maintaining a structure like this would be quite high, so I can assure you that it wont yield anywhere near 10%

    Apparently 2% - 8.5% for rental homes. Not worth it even if it`s 8.5% (which is highly unlikely you`ll actually get a return of 8.5% constantly) IMO:
