The Lotus L-39 Albatros bucks the trend in framerate sapping high-polygon aircraft models by careful and considered design of geometry, textures, and mapping. It employs every trick in the book (and many that aren't) to simultaneously achieve high detail and high framerate performance. This aircraft was built from scratch to specifically accomodate the greater performance demands of FSX multiplayer flight and features a highly optimized virtual cockpit and extremely low overhead external model. Just as the real Albatros was designed for student pilot training, Shared Cockpit flight in FSX is the defining purpose of this aircraft. It was designed for this mode from day one.

Single seat cockpit variants are also included for those who desire even greater VC performance. In addition, a special stripped down model designed specifically for those who fly online in large formation teams is included. All of this extra effort to keep framerate high in the demanding multiplayer environment results in a plane that is simply sublime for singleplayer use as well.

Along with an emphasis on high framerate performance comes the systems and flight model fidelity that FSX users have come to expect in a quality addon aircraft, and this L-39 contains a number of never before seen features and special effects.
Immersion is everything.

{FSX} Disposition - Follow Me

Disposition - Follow Me (FSX Only)

What is FollowMe?
FollowMe is an FSX Add-on that will allow you to request a follow-me-car that will guide you from the gate to the runway, or from the runway to the gate.
It will work for every airport as long as Air Traffic Control services are provided and ATC is able to assign you a taxiroute. In other words: it will work every time the 'Turn On Progressive Taxi' option is available. When ATC tells you to 'Taxi to Gate X' without specifying a route (via taxiway ...) then unfortunately FollowMe is not able to guide you.

Taking off
Upon confirming the route to the runway ATC assigns you, you can request a follow-me-car that will guide you to the runway.
Landing
Upon landing and clearing the runway, FSX's ATC will hand you off from Tower to Ground, where you can request a taxi route. After confirming the route you can request a follow-me-car. The car will guide you along the assigned route to your gate.

This is a completely renewed version from its predecesor.
The 2D panel has been renewed almost totaly by adding most of the real aircraft functions, a newly created FMC-GPS. Also the panel has been optimized for a better performance although the quality remains.

The flight dynamics as always at Vans are based on procedure manuals, speed booklets and tested by real pilots.

The aircraft on its exterior model has a countless number of details of high quality.
Details such as: Diferential ailerons (hi and low speed), the loss of hydraulic pressure on the horizontal stab is perfectly simulated, the reversers now arm fully with just a touch of the reverser (F2), landing lights now extend with the action of landing lights (CTRL+L), ground services (catering, fuel truck, baggage belt, baggage truck, etc) doors, main stair, captain window, everything with an independent control from each other. As told, an enormous number of details.

The Virtual cockpit has been detailed at its maximum with a perfect relation quality-performance, also being 100% 3D operational with clickeable buttons and containing 2 kind of models with Virtual Cockpit and without Virtual Cockpit.

LFST – Strasbourg Entzheim (Dpt67 - France) represents an extremely detailed French Regional airport in the East part of France. It includes high-definition ground textures as well as ground and building night textures. The scenery covers about 200 km2 and adds to the airport an extended photorealistic area including a specific autogen coverage.
The scenery can be used as a standalone product or in addition to the Alsace VFR scenery without any adaptation. Due to its specific conception, the scenery is entirely compatible with any mesh of your choice.
