Microsoft would like to perform a License review with your institution and to help you understand the current compliance status for the Microsoft licenses.
Licensing review can help you control costs by eliminating duplicate purchases; improving tracking and retirement processes and will ultimately improve your visibility to existing assets so that you maintain an optimized position. It also eliminates the risk of being non-compliant under Microsoft licensing policies.

The value of this engagement for your institution includes:

    · Guidance regarding on-going Software Usage to eliminate waste and redundancy and mitigate risks of non-compliance.

    · Assistance (including licensing expertise and advice) with understanding licensing rules, and, in particular, how they relate to your own specific situation

    · If required providing assistance on procurement by sharing a list of Microsoft Authorized Partners.

As the next step, please complete the attached Questionnaire and return it to us via email within 10 working days. If you need any clarification or assistance in filling up this questionnaire, please call us on (+94) 112470137.

When we receive your Questionnaire, we will then produce and send to you an Effective License Ownership Position document within 10 working days.

The review may require proofs of the licenses that you hold and/or a declaration letter outlining the complete license ownership and usage.
Post this engagement we will provide you with a Closure Letter to confirm conclusion of this review.

Please acknowledge receipt of this email, and confirm that you will complete the Questionnaire by 7th of June 2017.

Note - if your institution acquires its Microsoft licenses from a parent company/headquarters located outside of this country please advise this at the start of the review.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
