You can switch to a standard user account instead of using an admin account.
The default user in Linux is standard user ne?

i didnt get ur point that u related UAC to this.however in OpenSuSe u can set de default user to be ADMIN

I wasn't talking about UAC. You can do your normal work in a standard user account. Then XP is very less vulnerable to malicious software, because they can't do hard to the system (can't touch the registry, can't alter any system file etc. etc.)

in Linux although u r logged as root u have to provide ur pwd for certain kind of things like u mentioned earlier(That is not with XP)

Even if they are running a Linux server, which I'm not sure of, they must be running in command prompt. Linux is not more stable than Windows with GUI.
