You make good Humor

But sadly no substance on your posts. vegetables are the life line of trees for the next generation of trees if you didnt know that.so eating them up would be like destroying the offspring of any animal.

Well I do not know whether you have telepathy to decide who is the twin brother of whome, But I defenitely know that buddism did NOT tell you to make fun of others instead try and argue point to point.

And you lack common sense. We have passed the ages of going into the woods to pick wild berries y'know? I don't know about you, but I certainly have. The vegetables I eat are store bought and ones grown specifically for the purpose of eating. So all this lame talk of depriving a next generation of trees is absolutely rubbish! Most vegetables don't even grow on trees, they grow on plants or shrubs (the small things:rolleyes: )

Secondly, picking vegetables off a plant isn't going to hurt them, and it's certainly won't kill a plant. All this nonsense you quote on plants having pain- Hold it! I'd like to see some authentic scientific research article on that. I am not going to believe it because you said it.

Does Bikkus And Pries in Buddism wield extra ordinary powers????? Arnt they normal human beings please explain sister nadeeshe????

No they don't, but they have left a "normal" life over a more spiritual one.

You have to compare like with like. If you want to compare women of other religions to muslims women then do so, but don't drag in priests.

Why should I? I have no interest in knowing whether plants feel pain or not. BUT if you bring in points here to argue, you better back them up with evidence. You are the one that brought up the issue that plant's pain, so it's your duty to cite a reference.

    Sis Nadeesha

My Buddist Friend Mr.Sri Lion Agreed with me that trees feel pain .Please check Post Number 550.

I think he may be able to explain it better to you than me.

That does not matter to me, since you are the one that brought it up in the first place. You know what? You probably can't find a good enough source, so you are looking for excuses at this point ala "look for it yourself", "ask that one"....If you can't show evidence for your own statement, then I'll just dismiss it. DISMISS!

Wait a minute, why are you trying to deviate from the topic again?

I'm not here to provide lectures on Buddhism unfortunately.
