The vegetables I eat are store bought and ones grown specifically for the purpose of eating. So all this lame talk of depriving a next generation of trees is absolutely rubbish! Most vegetables don't even grow on trees, they grow on plants or shrubs (the small things )

Secondly, picking vegetables off a plant isn't going to hurt them, and it's certainly won't kill a plant. All this nonsense you quote on plants having pain- Hold it! I'd like to see some authentic scientific research article on that. I am not going to believe it because you said it.
