Mobile Broadband Tips
Mobile Broadband පරිඝණකයට Install කරාට පස්සෙ...... (oh this is boring typing in sinhala so i'm doing it in English for now on) dont't browse with your default settings... cause most modems are made for respective connections (eg: 3mobile) . so it will share more up & download Megabytes ..... to avoid, do as bellow,
used the installed software to enter settings... (eg. 3connect for 3mobile brand Huawei E1550 Modem)
1.if your connections is Mobitel ..go to modem settings & make a new profile leave the dial number.. (or u can enter *99#).. leave blank for user-name & password.. to
APN enter
mobitel3g.... then finish it & set active.
2.if you are a dialog user i recommend prepaid connections are better... do the same things above using new profile except
APN.. enter
ppwap for
APN dialog prepaid broadband.. then finish & set active..
from this way u can stay as long as you like without spending too much

*remember this is only for internet surfing such as facebook not for downloading ...
* if u want to download more without huge monthly rental .i recommended dialog prepaid Rs50/= plan it give you unlimited usage for 2 hours....

chose more suitable package for u....
and dont buy a modem from mobitel or dialog ....cause most of them are locked
