Aragala jeppo...oh give me a break. I really do hate when people like you selectively attribute issues to certain groups, issues that are common to almost every demographic. It's mindless use of language and irrational form of apportioning the blame.
Class issues are not exclusive to socialists but the difference is that they think it's a problem with the system and the solution lies in a socialist system. They have no sense of individual accountability. If you can clearly see these things with evidence, what's wrong in selectively attributing it to that group? I mean it's their main attribute lol.
Their as in Jeppo's? So economic frugality, nonchalance towards private property, insensitivity and lack of respect towards government spaces is inherent to only Jeppo? That's their defining characteristic? What nonsense. These austere beliefs are ubiquitous to most of us Sri Lankans and I don't see any reason to single out just one faction. Also, statistically speaking these raiders are a homogeneous mixture of Baiyo, Toiyo and Jeppo.
By the way, to address your original point...as much as some of these raiders' behavior is uncouth, it doesn't necessarily mean that they actively believe that top political leadership should not recieve any benefits. We are merely speculating.
'Aragala Jeppo' is fast becoming a moniker that is as unscientific and loosy goosy as 'Gupiyo'. Members of these forum have rendered these names meaningless through excessive usage to attribute blame for every single problem without rhyme or reason. In fact this is no different to the populist nationalistic tendency from years ago that blamed Tamils or Muslims without any regard to logical consistency of their comparative guilty.
