The ladder couldn't have gone sideways. They had it secured to the ground, you can see this at 0:58. I am by no means saying this prank was not dangerous, but it is not as dangerous as you are lead to believe. All in all this was a bitchen prank, but even with the ladder secured, there is no in hell I'd do that lol, too scared of falling three stories onto hard concrete.
