Maithripala's brother does a 'Mervin'

Thugs have attacked the JVP Parliamentarian for Pollonnaruws District S.K. Subasinghe today at about 5.15 p.m. He was attacked when he visited the polling station at Galthambarawa in Pollonnaruwa District.

Thamankaduwa Pradeshiya Sabha Member of the JVP Chandraratna, who was the polling agent of the JVP at the polling station at Galthambarawa, had been prevented from leaving the polling station after the polling and he had been assaulted by UPFA thugs. When Mr. Subasinghe went to the polling station a gang of UPFA thugs led by Chaminda, a brother of Minister Maithripala Sirisena had assaulted him. Mr. Subasinghe has been admitted to Pollonnaruwa Hospital.
