Muhamalai LTTE defence line captured

A part of the LTTE defence line in Muhamalai was captured by the army this morning following a fierce battle, the military confirmed.

Over 50 LTTE carders, 10 soldiers were killed and 30 were wounded during the capturing of 800m long 8km wide LTTE line in Muhamalai since Saturday.
