My Friend Ocean
Marking 5thAnniversary of Tsunami devastation, 26 Dec 2009

Pleasant morning sunshine
Lovely rhythmic wave
Kissed land of paradise
In a moment
Went away hide in seabed

Invited the innocents to see
Beauty of strange sea
Nay want to witness
The sad Sun went away hide

What a wonder!
Mighty wall of sea wave
Stood in front
Imagine not that
Roaring to get away

In a moment
Wrapped away all

Not speared lovely little ones
No difference in age
Neither nor heavy metal
Carriages of a train
Not a little fishing boat
Nor hefty vessel
Even poor kid’s broken tricycle

My oldest friend
Blue Ocean
Golden sandy shore
Softy pleasant breeze
Rhythmic dancing wave

Earn a living of lime stone
One might have destroyed beauty coral reef
Dug golden sand or dumped a garbage
Sure they didn’t disturbed your bed with nuke test

My dear Ocean
In front of your mighty power
No comparison we are very poor
Lets the destruction of past history

Help!
Worldly human correct faults
Protect Mother Nature
Share ‘n care each other
Kindly forgive us

Lets our little ones enjoy
As my lovely little past
Don’t scare them any more
Otherwise who would enjoy
Your mighty natural beauty

We are friends forever isn’t it?
