Oh you got a Q6600 ryte ?? If you go for a AMD platform your CPU is PI 9850 or 9950. Its much cheaper than Q6600 same rendering speed but L3 Cache & huge a$$ memory bandwidth Those CPUs are black editions so better OC capability than Q6600
If you got a separate Graphic card then no problem. If it is Intel's crap IGP you can't even load Warhead. But AMD's Mainboard got a ATI HD powered IGP for free
So what still Intel ?? Nothing , Only name & you guys still afraid to run a PC without Intel Chip & Windows OS

as i toled u i was a AMD fan for a long time. BTW ive bought this Q6600 1 1/2 years a go. at that time AMD never cn a quad core even. and m so focused on gaming and hacking. i need better performance. so ive chosen this babe. shes helping me in my brootforcing and gaming realy well. and as a gamer i will never think abt onboard GPU. its totaly useless machan. so i hav GTX 295 and cool prity PC with intel P45 chipset. and afterall m doing realy well with this nah. so ill never go for AMD again. now m planing to go for a new core i5 or core i9.

and for ur knowledge machan. m using ubuntu fedora mandriwa sentos and ofcourse my ever loving backtrack 4.0 besides Windows.

But y'day i check SL Mega site, they got i7 920 for 45K or something AFAIR
But PII 955 3.2Ghz beats i7 920 for sure, only around 30k.

ya i agreed, but SLmega sucks. u can buy same thing for much cheaper price on ebay with shiping and all. i never buy from them coz comparing to ebay its really useless. m buying from ebay or in local market of course PC LAND. they r giving me very gud rates. and awsom warranty and after service

Really i don't care 3D marks But whatz more than x264. even Far cry works fine on AMD. Usually it sucks on AMDs and Readons. But when it comes to higher Res. & 8x AA AMD works fine

Hey, i know Tom's hardware
they got a huge a$$ CPU chart But according to that chart phenoms can't beat the Yorkfields even. Then how phenoms beat i7s sometimes in this benchmarks

OK then, according to the processor arithmetic benchmarks Intels should always win. But why not ?? This is real world benchmarks. Who care how calculations going on inside the CPU ??
