    Where I'm now
    Inno3d Geforce 8800GT 37k.
    C2D E6550 20k or low.
    Rest for the mobo.
Get a one based on P35 or G33 with overclock options.Best priced mobo in LK as in my PoV is Gigabyte P35-DS3P.Its around 18k.OR you have Foxconn G33/31 mobo for like 11k.
If you are short on money,Better cut it out with CPU.Get an E44xx lower cache but still you get the same clocks. If you see benchmarks cache is hyphed so much in these areas.

    Yo...
thanx for the reply but still GA-P35-DS3P Mo/Bord supports ATI cross fire !!!!! in this case will it give a good support for Nvidia chipset cards ?? more over 8800GT is pci E 2.0 where GA-P35-DS3P doesn't have pci E 2.0 slot !!! So which Mo/Bo do i choose for pci 2.0 cards like 8800GT.. ??? i checked @ epsi for x38 which comes with pci 2.0 which is 45K (i cannot afford it)!!!!

hehe PCIE 2.0 is completely backward compatible with ver 1.1 so u have no problems buddy, i have a Inno3d 8800 GT and im using it on a Asus p5K wich doesnt suppor PCI-E 2.0, any way todays most powerfull cards hardly ever use even PCI-E 1.1 8x bandwidth, All intel chipsets only support cross fire mate, but it doesnt mean that nvidia cards doesnt work on them lool, its just u cant use nvidia SLI with them, u cant get a better card than 8800GT in SL for that price point.
Buy the GAp35 DS35, Asus P5K, P5K-E, P5KR they are all very good mobos...tho the asus ones are a bit expensive than Gigabyte one.

It seems you may better read this.:D

And just FYI ,In the past, tomshardware did a test to see about this.At the nVida nForce4 SLi X16 time.It proved ATIchips supported GeForce and nVidia chips supported Radeon better :P.You will have to get an Intel skulltrail to support both multiple graphics card technologies and If you want nVIDIA SLi support ,you need to pay a hell lot for a nVIDIA chipset based board.Every high end mobo @ EPSI is priced 45k.Even my ASUS striker extreme too.:P
Don't worry about the PCi-e version.Even the 8800GTX cant get to the bandwidth of PCI-e X16 V1.1.P35 may not have that but it is a great chipset for OCing too.And bang for the buck.BTW I told you the best way you can get around your budget+in Sri Lanka. You can't beat this rig.

    So guys
    1) any SLI ready Motherboards in SL with the price range below 25K in SL ?? any retail shops name (which will support 8xxx geforce. I inted to go for Xtra VGA in 3month time for dual graphics card support )
    2) Where do i get Inno3d 8800 GT graphics card SL retailers name ? (Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Inno3d, Foxconn which one do i choose as VGA vendor)
    3) By the way i need a optimized performance from M/Board bcoz i need a Mobo for Gaminn S/W development... so still having problem for choosing SLI chipset like nvidia 780i/750i VS intel P35 motherboard!!

1)SLi dont come that cheap. If it comes you will be facing a mid end board or a P5n32e-SLi which featured NF680i from ASUS.Not lower than that.
2)You have to buy what you get.NO OPTIONS If you live here.
3)nVIDIA SLi is expensive.Get an Intel and a good VGA to do gaming.
I'm hell as sure you think nVGA=n x performance where n is 1/2/3/4.But it wont be @ least for now.Dual VGAs mean like 1.5 of a single cards performance. But twice as power consumption ,heat etc.:P Why dont you have a great card with that money combined for multi VGA setup?.Personally I'm not into multi VGA setups.

    dude ....
Thanx for askin that qustion.... unfortunatly most of the games today does not even take the full advantage for SLI tech crap.according to Yahoo. so i'm goin to opt out for GT 8800...
yeh thanx abt Mo/Board comments "We gotto live with the shit wot v get here for higher prices.."
PS:- refer that yahoo link..luks some wot useful for me .
so i decided to go for intel P35 motherboard.
now where do i get inno3d graphics card in SL ?? is it betta than MSI , gigabyte n Asus vendors ??

inno3D is decent.I got myself a 8500GT and it OCd nicely..720/940/1458........Brand will make a difference only 1 or 2%...ITs the components that they use.Good brands like Asus,Evga uses better components better mem etc.....Like the inno3D 8600GT you get here has DDR2 mem but if you take a Asus 8600GT it will have DDR3mem( Vry expensive mind you)

    Where I'm now
Inno3D 8600GT has DDR3.@ least I saw a one :P.Now its almost DDR3 age.Even FOXCONN 8500GT have DDR3 as I know. The brands have different free giveaways and they have differently clocked(mostly OCed)from the BIOS.Well ppl like me Usually get the VGA,Flash it.I flashed my VGA after about 5~6days I received(after some tests)and Increased 3D Core clock to 645(621) and mem 954(900),Voltages +0.01.And 2D voltages lowered for better power consumption.:D SO its all you ,just grab the cheapest with best components then edit it as you wish.

AMD is the best 4 Gaming

AMD phonome black (qurd core)This is a best Gaming Edition from AMD
    4GB Kingston Ram,
    PCI 2 G-force 8800 GTX VGA
Compatible ASUZ M/B should be higher than 2000MHz bus speed

Wow can you get them in SL:P

And let me see 1 single GTX will be a minimum of 50k,the CPU will cost about 34k i think by saying "The best gaming edition from AMD" you are referring to the Phenom 9850. For the CPU and GPU the total will come to 84k if you read what he wanted his budget is limited to 70k. How is he going to buy the other components? :P

Well said chanster.. and guys.. AMD is good for gaming i agree.. but i need PC to develop soaftware as well for my earnings[ i use to practise S/W development at home too (i'm a techie)]... so i would like to choose optimal PC for my requirement... so i guess as most of the team member says p35 M/board + E6650 (processor) + 8800GT (VGA) will be the best choice ATM.but still it iss bit expensive on my budget...
AMD lacks in L2 cache and when u run 2 or 3 servers in UR PC its totally dead slow .. where intel can keep up some resource free..
