core 2 quad for sure, but it is better to over clock it. don't buy intel motherboards if you are gonna overclock as they don't support.

you can never play games with an onboard VGA. to play all the big titles decently you'll have to spend @ least 15k for the vga. starting from 8600gts to 9600gt-8800gt(9800gt) - HD3870
AFAIK in sl 9600gt is the bang for buck

Get a Foxconn G33 mobo + E7300 or E7400 and overclock the CPU like crazy! Won't cost you most than Rs.25000 in total.
