Need Help! DVD Burning!

Hey Guys!When I try to burn a dvd with a movie I have saved in my hard disk..I always get the message---"This dvd may not be playable on dvd players" What should I do?I tried several burner sotwares but same result! pls guys advice me!!and if u can pls suggest some good burner software to avoid this problem!!Thanx.I'd really appreciate it!

If you want to play a movie on a standalone DVD player, then you must burn it as a standard Video DVD. Video should be in MPEG2 format. If you are trying to burn a downloaded DivX file then it wont play on a standalone player unless the player supports DivX playback.

Well the video format is not supported in standard players and burn software giving warning about it. OptiPlexFX gave the answer for that.
