Need help with safari sinhala fonts in mac os

safari sinhala fonts are not being displayed properly sometimes. certain words are appearing incorrectly. But firefox is rendering the same webpage correctly.

anyone knows how to get this thing fixed? if safari uses different font other than the one firefox is using, how do i force it to use the same font?

in mac you suppose to add fonts to "font book"
if the Firefox works with no issue, then your mac might has the fonts.
give a try again adding fonts to the font book

danne machan, EK eke post karala thiyena sinhala words firefox eke display wenawa hodata. safari eke aul wela thiyenne. OS ekath ekka apu fonts thiyenne.

thanks for the reply macahn. Is there any possible way to force safari to use the same font that firefox is using? The right font should be there in the os, but safari might be picking up something else instead ?

Both the safari and Firefox use fonts from Font book. if the required font is available in font book, safari will use it
you better download required fonts and add those to font book. then restart the mac.
