Almost all Jet printers are in the 5000 range. What matters nowadays is the cartridge price since its coming close to 5000 as well!

if the number of pages are high, get a Laser printer.
Even though the Laser Toner is expensive, when compared with Jet printers, the cost per page is low with laser printers.
Also they are faster and quieter.
Go for a HP laser printer. No idea what models are on the market these days but if available, get a HP CLJ 2605 or a 2500n
