Wrong! take North East for an example!

Praba lost North East from his (P)EELAM, and lets assume that, it was all left for him.. so what happened? Govt. used military power to gain North East but that wasn't the end.. the end was an election.. give power to people.. though the initial step was violence (if you wanna call that violence) the end was defined by a democratic process!

Bottomline: Terrorism was defeated by human rights not violence! ;)

So the process should repeat for North! We sincerely hope it will!!!
wrong!! terrorism was NOT defeated!!
Surely you would have understood what i meant from defeating terrorism from my last post is to completely eliminate, as if not it wont be a world record because many countries like Russia have regained territory from terrorists. just like what happened in the north east.

In conclusion: Terrorism is far off from being defeated. just because the north east was regained. I doubt if we even regain the whole of the north we will still defeat terrorism. if not PARAbakaran his uncle will still be there. the more you use violence on them the more they will be determined to strike back, n more people will join the LTTE, no more sympathy will be given to LTTE by countries like Norway.

Lets wait for Election Commissioners verdict shall we? If he thinks people's rights have been violated he has the power to cancel the election!

So you don't have to worry about a thing ;)

Yes it matters.. ur missing the key word! After we won the war!
after we won the war prabha came to democratic steam to save his ass and
rule North will u give it to him?
Damn!

When we won the war the blood shed is over and other stuff...
are u ready to giv it to him even after that?

But not after we won!

Yes! you are correct! I was talking about before the WAR ends! Sorry about that miscommunication!

Well...after the WAR if Praba lives, he will definitely be a POW (Prisoner of War)

Asitha-K said:
Yes I think the same

You must understand that there is a difference between Praba and others!

Take an example: Sometime back in Sri Lanka a radio network was shutdown by the govt. because it broadcast filth right? Now why did govt. didn't arrest the presenter of the show? because she was just doing her job, what the Radio station wants her to do!

Yeah ppl will love to stay under a person who is responsiable for the death of their beloved ones!

Isn't that the same people who chose him?:) So does it matter what we say here in Colombo?

I think we are talking about 2 different ways of defeating terrorism!:D

When I said defeating terrorism, I meant..... taking the whole of Sri Lanka under 1 Sri Lankan flag... getting hold of terrorist strongholds and gain control of the whole island establish democracy and just f*ck off EELAM concept of divide and rule!

Other than that I agree with you! even after defeating terrorism according to the above paragraph......isolated incidents will definitely occur! And it does all around the world! There's no cure for that.. but the important thing is people get what they deserve, they get their rights and freedom or at least make it better!

The newest Provincial Council in the eastern province is faced with a major crisis soon after the EPC Polls concluded and the Chief Ministers & Ministers and M.L.A.M. Hizbullah were sworn in on May 16 and May 22 in Colombo respectively.

Ethnic tensions had boiled over at PC Minister Hizbullah’s native Kathankudi that morning (May 22, 2008) and five bodies were already at the Batticaloa Hospital mortuary as a result even before he was to address his first press conference after taking oaths. Among the dead were Kumar Sasitharan alias Shanthan, the head of the TMVP office in Arayampathi, close to Kathankudi.
Shanthan shot dead on the spot!
He was shot near the Kathankudi bus stand while travelling on a motorcycle with an associate later identified as Tharasan. He was on his way to Arayampathi, south of Batticaloa when his assassins moved in front of the motorcycle near the Kathankudi bus stand on the main road and shot him with a T56 weapon. According to the TMVP the two were unarmed at the time of the attack.
Innocent Muslims are being revenged by TMVP!
As news of the attack spread, armed TMVP cadres from the Arayampathi camp began arriving in Kathankudi terrorising the Muslim population. Three innocent Muslim civilians had been shot and killed, and at least seven others were injured. One was a businessman who ran a travel agency. The Muslim victims had been shot in Arayampathi which is where the TMVP camp is located.
Since then violence has been continuing in the Batiicaloa district in which innocent Muslims are being targeted for revenge killing and abduction. Definitely not! :frown: that is if government is doing it! I don't have any evidence who does these... so just because these things happen does that give you license to put all rubbish on govt.?

Writing about WAR without proper consent from SL defense does have a direct impact for you for me and all Sri Lankans plus most of all our brothers, our soldiers!!

So Military reporting should always be monitored.. because there are jokers out there looking forward to use this form of sensitive reporting to do their dirty work!

Keith Noyahr incident? did he identified the people who attacked him to be of govt. origin? has anyone being charged yet?

Rupavahini incident? Agreed and I oppose with disgust!
