Movies, software, and music are covered under intellectual property rights, if you download any of them without paying (except for the content shared freely by the creators themselves like opensource software) then you are breaking the law. But in Sri Lanka these laws are not properly implemented nor executed. So nothing will happen to you, but that doesn't make it right, it is still stealing..

Hey bro i don`t want to argue with you.Bcoz i know nothing about these RIAA or MPAA. You may be true.

But i just want to know that didn`t you ever download a free Movie from the Internet???:confused::confused::confused: If you say NO, i`m afraid i can`t belive it..:no:

Why should we buy or rent a movie without using these free sites?? If you buy or rent movies i`m afraid to say you are a fool..:yes:
(Some people buying Movies for get the maximum quality.So i`m not talking about that ok)

Anyway i just want to say that i didn`t try to show my colours or something,I just tried to share my things with EK members who needs help to find out good movies. Thatz all...

And i don`t know ur knowledge about free downloading in sri lanka. All Computer user in Sri lanka(Not only SL but in the world as wel) doing this. In very this moment millions of people downloading free movies( Except You..:P) . So all of them should capture....:P:P

Anyway i appreciate your kindness to share these things with me....

I never said that I don’t download or that I do :P.

From your previous reply I thought that you really think downloading movies for free is legal. That is why I gave you those examples to let you know that it is not.

Anyways, I’m just telling you that it is not a good idea to publicize that you have pirated (illegal) stuff with you. Because if someone wants they can track you down. I know a friend (not in SL) who got a warning from Paramount Pictures for downloading Mission impossible. Luckily his ISP settled the case with just a warning.

I'm totally against RIAA and MPAA for over charging us too... :angry: I'm only letting you know the reality..

I jst tried to help EK members.... Thatz all....:yes::yes::yes: Bcoz i saw few threds about moviez & they asked the names of good Moviez..Thatz y i decided to post my Movie Collection.....
Anyway tnx 4ur valuable advice bro...:yes::yes::yes: I`ll keep it in my mind....:)
