I'm working with a client over the internet directly with no involvement of freelancing websites, and i was wondering if i should use Payoneer's request a payment feature to receive my payments.

Has anyone here used it before?

What was your experience and what are the rates involved?

    Thanks in advance

If they client has a Payoneer account, I think he can transfer for free. Charges will be for loading to the card ($5 for instant load otherwise $2 or so in two days). You can get money from ATM with payoneer card. Withdrawing at ATMs will have charges and ex rates which will depend on the bank.

I have used it once so far and it's a hassle free method to get your payments. The US Customers have a particular option known as eCheck (Electronic Check) which has a fee of just 1% (it takes 5-8 business days for the funds to be loaded into your account).

If the customer pays by a Credit Card, the fee associated with the transaction is 3% (2 business days).

Make sure the final amount you get is greater than $50 if you're using the bank withdrawal method to withdraw funds from your Payoneer account :P I charged my client $50 and I received only $49.50. Now I'm waiting for his next payment, so that the total withdrawal amount will exceed $50 :P
