Nuts! The price is everything! (Don't only look at the CPU price when it comes to the price of the system. Intel motherboards are more expensive!)

BTW do your self a favour and get an AM2+ mobo which will last longer with tech and why not get a Black edition which are like Intel extreme series which has multiplier upto 25 unlocked.(AMD always had it unlocked downwords )The AMD chips are dirty dirty cheap these days specially considering BE chips,say the 5000+,5400+.

And why the heck are you talking about Turion? Turion is only for laptops!

Best processor for money would be E2140 from Intel. Get a decent mobo, and overclock the heck out of it. 3GHz isn't hard. ~8000 for the CPU, ~9000-10000 for the mobo and 5000-6000 for the 2GB RAM and whaever else for the VGA and you have a cheap system that can smoke an AMD in any game! (including the quad cores sometimes)

If you are comparing such old benchmarks, why don't you compare older benchmarks where the Intel P4C destroyed the AthlonXP or the PentiumIII destroyed the K6 or so on and so forth.
