Hardware wise නම් phone එක හොදයි හැබැයි මේකෙ ROM එක ගොඩක් customize කරල තියන නිසා (UI) use කරද්දි default Gingerbread feeling එක නැති වෙයි.එහෙම කියලා custom third party ROM's නම් දාන්න එපා පුතෝ කෙල වෙන එක කෙලවෙනවාමයි.ICS වලට update එකක් එනවා කියල තියන නිසා ගත්තු විදිහටම phone එක පාවිච්චි කරන්න.

custom roms demmata mukut wenne na.mokadda me kelawenawa kiyanne ? mama mage Neo V ekata dan roms 10k withara demma(including both CM9 & Sony beta ICS) 2 months walata thama nam phone ekata mukut une na.Nikan phone eka gannat kalin boruwata minissunwa baya karanna epa ban Custom roms danakota kelawenne waradi kernel eka(ex-flashing a kernel that is made for another phone) flash karot or waradi rom ekak(ex-flashing a rom that is made for another phone) flash karoth witarai.Still meka fix karanna can with flashing default fw with flashtool

anyway boot loader eka unlock karanakota S1tool(free) or SETool2(paid) use karoth PC companion eka use karanna puluwan ICS update eka ganna.Mokada me tools deken ma karanne boot loader eka patch karana eka instead truly unlocking and Sony cannot find if its unlocked or not.

යන්න මල්ලි යන්න..මම කතා කරන්නෙ පොදුවෙ including Xperia Ray too. මම තාම හරි third party ROM (Cyanogenmod) එකක් දැකලා නැහැ with zero defects excepts for "Nexus One" and few other devices. එක්කො Bluetooth වැඩ කරන්නෙ නැ නැත්නම් wifi අවුල්, camera flash වැඩ නැ, radio වැඩ නැ, battery drain වෙනවා හිටු කියලා. අපි කොච්චර technically හරි method එකට ROM එක flash කලත් වැඩක් නැ එකේ defects තියනවනම්. ඉතින් මම කාවවත් බය කලෙ නැ මම දන්න දේ කිව්වේ.

නැ නැ එහෙම දෙයක් නෙමෙයි මම අදහස් කලේ සමහර වෙලාවට defects එක්ක කාලයක් phone එක පාවිච්චි කරන කොට එකෙ hardware durability එක අඩු වෙන්න පුලුවන් (phone එක ඉක්මනට heat වෙනවා, battery drain වෙනවා වැඩි නිසා) නැතුව ROM එක flash කරපු ගමන් phone එකට කෙල වෙනවා කියන එක නෙමෙයි (හරි විදිහට flash කලොත්). මගේ HTC Sensation එකත් ලෙඩ දීලා ආයෙත් stock ROM flash කර ගත්තා. Third-party ROM's කොච්චර feature rich වුනත් ඔය තියන bugs එක්ක phone එකක් පාවිව්ච්චි කරලා තෙරුමක් තියනවද?
