Phone Help ????

My cousin has bought a phone . Today he put a memory card in it . and then when he switched on the phone , a message has appears on screen saying "calibration wizard.you have to calibrate the touch screen .click anywhere on the screen with your stylus to start calibration" and no response . He clicked then next then next but these next steps are repeating itselves and no results.
Then he removed the chip , but the process is same . ???

dont just click next. tap the locations it indicates so that the tap screen will be calibrated.
