I’ve discussed her with my parents, and they think she is just a miserable person. They usually shuffle managers every 6 months, so hopefully she’ll be gone soon. I don’t know what to think about the store manager. He’s told my mom (a regular shopper) that I am a great worker, and he wishes he has more workers like me. I was surprised by that comment, because he told my mom that after she asked how business was going (you know, small talk). But, how he treats me suggests otherwise. Sometimes he’s very friendly, but most times he is short-tempered and downright rude.
The worst part is that the management often contradicts each other. A double-edged sword, if you will. For example, heather once told me to stay at the empty register to wait for the cashier to arrive. A minute later, the store manager comes over and yells at me for “doing nothing”. I try to explain, but he dissmisses me and walks away.
