Guys as i said earlier in this thread (here)
Its officially illegal to hijack threads but other than that people are free to post like they want this is a leisure forum. And even 1% of people actively posting in here.
If we talk about the member activity level we have it high as worlds top 10 forums.
If you want i can give you proves from PM. But only 1% or less people posting and most of them find posting as a whole new thing. forums and posting still very new to srilankans. So it our job to make them active and post. They may do things wrong when they start but they will learn and catch up as they go.
I know many good posters in Elakiri who started like saying yes, hmmm, ow ow like posts. So we should give them chances to love the community and get on with it. When people come to Elakiri they want to get titles so they start posting hmmm ow ow type posts until they mixup with people and find friends to talk with. But as they go they will learn, let them get that 100 post they want and after that we can tell them its better if you do some quality posting. Actually you don't even have to tell it as they find people to talk and subjects of their interest.
So in my opinion for the people in srilankan who don't even know how to register, post or even use a forum we should give some chances until they learn it and feel the place and get to know about it. Then they will learn it automatically or can tell them. Its much better than making someone stop posting and only downloading songs. As you all know its hard to start posting but when you get started you go on with it. We have to make the start as nice as possible. There are many 1000s of great posters and great knowledgeable people hidden there in the member base with 0 posts. I want them active!

Main thing i am not thinking about an encyclopedia or topic specified site. This is a totally open forum. I am thinking only about each thread and each section. Do not hijack other peoples threads, if they talking serious then let them talk like that. If you want to do some fun thing then open a fun thread or join such thread. Don't hijack other peoples threads.

Go and look at the definition of bumping. Bumping is done with posts that are totally out of context. That one was not.

maybe i used that word 'bumpig' wrongly..
i didn't mean to point out ur dig of that early thread. i just wanted to say there were no such kind of(so called orgasmic) spamers at that time..

Not quite correct, bro. Maybe we can't stop them... but still, does it mean that anybody can do anything, anywhere? Should all the others be deaf and blind to that sort of irresponsible behavior? No way! Even within EK there should be different places for people who want to do different things... within the limits of decency, of course! People who do things in public should also be ready, whether they like it or not, to be judged by the rest of the community. It DOES matter, not only who does what, but also where it is done. Think of your own home - what will the other family members think of you if you go and sh*t in, say, the dining room? Or, how would you feel if your neighbor or a passer-by just stepped into your house and dumped a ton of garbage in the middle of your living room? Now would you like to see a thread you started to discuss something specific eventually being inundated with spam and all sorts of frivolous responses that have nothing to do with the subject being discussed? C'mon, gimme a break!!!!
