Plz help to recover..

Guys today when i was working with one of my exel file (Ex. Daily purchasing) i was entering different data in to this file thinking will save it using "save as" command for a new file keeping previous file without changing (Daily purchasing) but i forgot to use "Save as command" and instead used "save" command and lost data of "daily purchasing" is there a way to recover it

are u on vista business or windows 7 pro ? or if ur work have a windows 2003 based network with shadow copy turned on then u can recover the file by going to properties of the folder then selecting previous ver tab

ya , 1st try restore previous version .. if not try to locate this path and see if there are some backups of ur file...

C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\

did u find it? if u delete a file (even SHIFT+DEL) you can recover..but if you overwrite... theres no way of getting it!
