If it's the same drive and different interfaces, NO. Check HDTach if you can. It gives somewhat more repeatable results.

Sure, your hard drive supports NCQ, but you have to run it in native SATA if you want to get it to "work"!. I can only enable it on Vista. Intel haven't released and will not be releasing necessary drivers for my motherboard to get it working int XP. They say that XP is already outdated. Vista has SATA support. So it doesn't require an additional driver as XP does.
