i dont think thats the real temps... i also get 39 C from the program but.. my hDD doesnt have any temp sensors

SMART has temp sensors. If your HDD supports SMART, then it should work. (how reliable it is, I don't know)

my HDD has smart.. but i think the last time i checked with sandra i didnt get any tems from my hdd

They are reliable. TBH, I have (had) Seagate, Maxtor, Samsung and Quantum Fireball drives and none of them have failed! So, I think the reliability has something to do with the luck

hell yeah.. i had a 8Gb quantum fireball... dropped it 3 times on the floor.. still works great..

Thats impossible.I had some fireballs with temp sensors.Besides that program usually doesnt go wrong on temps.My temp sensor in case tells 1~2c near that.
