Okey dokey fellas,the title says it all,i just saw an overclocking guide by Chanster and i appreciate it though a fight was going on that thread

Well I'll put mine first,bought it few days back and didnt do any tweaks coz i just wanted to Play Crysis ASAP,so just pumped the FSB stuff ran orthos and got a playable frame rate at somewhat medium and high settings,

C2D E6750 @ 3.2GHz(400x8)-Stock HSF
2x1GB KVR667 @960MHz-5/6/6/15
Inno3D 8600GT-Core@675(540 Stock) -Memory@1050(800 Stock)
(Had to reduce the OC of this coz some power issue-when i reach it to GTS clocks the system tends to crash becoz GTS needs auxiliary power which GT doesn't have a connector for )

O h machan I remeber you.You are the one with ASUS mobo and AMD right?And AFAIR the FX 5200 too?? I remeber you told me about a new rig.Nice one youve got.You had gone a sep further than usual with VGA 8600GT.Thats great.How much was it?I feel like since you OC,you could have got E6550 and a 8600GTS.That would be great too coz of the PCI-e power connector you can OC it well and I see you have bottlenecked by it this very moment .Happy Clocking .And cheers for crysis.I cant play it until I get a new CPU :S :S Probably will not till next year.

Overclocked using BIOS flash ne. Default clocks kiyala pennanne BIOS walin read karana clock ekak. Ithin me utility ekata default/overclocked dekama ekai.

Yeah machan but the CPU was Intel,(Yeah I had an AMD and I'm a big time AMD fanboy )heheee..Correct Crappy FX5200 and later Epsi gave me a 6200 ,I consider buying 8600GT myself a big step rather buying a 8500GT,what to do macho,no place to find GTS,and even this GT was a rare luck,it was not from Unity,a place called IT Land(about half a minute hike towards kolpetty from Unity,and it cost me 15.5K)
no one seems to know that place coz everybody thinks even GT is not available here,I'm very happy with the Rig and hope u'll play Crysis soon,btw i finished it

ASUS center will get a shipment of Nvidia Cards today hope thell bring 8800 GT and hope itll be less than 45000 RS (real price should be 20000 RS) and guys dont buy 8500, 8600 they are such a waste of money...either wait and collect some more money and buy a 8800GT or if u can find Radeon 1950 Pro is superb....and im hoping that some one will have the brain to import Radeon 3850 and 3870 they will be awesome for the price range (radeon 3850 is about 8 times faster than 8600GT and they cost the same 8600 and Radeon 2600 series are history now)

ASUS centre guys are scumbags,you cant trust what they say,I've been waiting for their shipments many times though never arrive till i gave up the Idea of buying from them,and about 3850/3870 why the hell no one imports ATi cards,only asus centre seems to be but still older cards,but coz of their high price no one would be buying into their scum unless filthy rich

yeah very true they are real assholes..i called them today and they said the stocks have arrived and theyll put em on display today...give em a call to find out

yeah most most ppl in SL thing that Radeons are slow..and the importers know this and they mostly bring Nvidia...and that suck cuz these 38XX cards are truly awesome for the price...any way currently they dont have single graphic card at the Asus Center (run by EPSI computers that is)

8 times fast?! Maybe at 2560x1600 where the 3850 will simply do 8fps and 8600GT doing 1fps
