I'm trying to figure out what temps people are getting with their C2D CPUs with the stock Intel heat sink. But feel free to post if you have a 3rd party cooler as well.

I want to know both idle and load temps.

Download CoreTemp (113kB) and post a screenshot like this:

sshot1lw0.png

1. when the CPU is idle
2. when the CPU is at full load (both cores at 100%)...also say which software you used to max the CPU load. i would prefer if you can use prime95 multithreaded versions' stress test into 5 minutes or so.

Note: Tell me what the cooler is.
Note2: Post a CPU-Z screenshot as well... Sorry I forgot it. I need to know the voltage used..

Idle? Load? Come on man! Follow the rules! Where is the screenshot? I will have to ignore the posts that do not abide by the rules!

Ugh What part did u miss from the topic that says "Post your Core 2 Duo CPU's Temperature" Obviously your Athlon X2 doesn't fit here, or were you trying to showoff your desktop lool, there's another thread for that somewhere else, follow the rules man.

TIP : You can use Alt+Print screen to capture the currently Active window :P

Nope it isn't mate, 67 @ load is pretty OK...just don't let it pass 75 C and you will be fine, remember we are talking about the Core temperature here, just don't let it reach the T-junction temp @ any cost
