AFAIK, these preapplied pastes are supposed to melt down with heat and sneak into the small holes between the HSF and the IHS. AS5 is not like that. It gets solid after a while. That while can be about a day.

That thing still brought him onto 30C?? I'm on stock cooling with an nVIDIA chipset but still hit 45s on normal load for 3 hours.With a half size cooler.I dont know whether E4xxx comes with half height ones.I have yet to mount CPU fan duct and rear 92mm exhaust.Anusha said:Scary cooling Must be loud to run without Q-Fan ON.
