Normally in many countries,
Cost per 1GB reduce with time including Internet.

Forgot one thing
We are getting a huge bill for the land phone which is not much used. The only reason to keep it connected was to use ADSL. Guess what... i no longer need it and i can make all calls from the upahara one.

We didn't just become SLT customers some 2 years ago. We had the TP line from 1994. If this is how SLT repays it's trusted customers, so be it.

And one more thing; I invested money on splitters, packages and routers. As the contract is going to be forcibly terminated from SLT's side, i need all those refunded. People do investments hoping to gain the expected returns.

yeah.we are hoping for a better future.that's why we have appointed this government but not to cut off our facilities.until now the connecion went well..why is this new policies and all these craps.Just let us be what we used to be.TRC if you guyz have introduced this damn method,you have a done a great mistake.what you people have done is supporting the companies ignoring the sl citizens.anyway if you introduce this FUP limitations,then most probably more than 100000 of slt customers will be shiting to dialog or someother private service.thtz for sure.so is this how this government try to save the wealth of the country?so please ,think well///and we need our unlimited connection..so give it back to us/if slt face lack of bandwidth then ask them to stop issuing any peotv or more unlimited connections.slt is not the only company which issues unlimited connection.so why doesn't lankabell or anyother unlimited connection providers use this crap FUP.So in foreign countries do they,give limitations fortheir unlimited connection users....put FUP we'll leave for sure.....we don't want to reduce the service charges,just give us the unlimited connection!

dude im really disappointed in slt.. wow we ve been iv been a customer of urs for more than two years u said no shit about heavy downloading i dont get to use my pc the whole time but i make sure i download all i can while i can to make that time more entertaining..u had no issues with heavy downloading in fact i purchased this package for this very reason damn it! i guess ppl in the maldives get better internet service obviously we re not the ones to blame the foul usage of adsl by children y should we pay the goddamn price.wow u made me another reason for me to leave this godforsaken place wow... fml if u dont change this immediately hell, u wont have a single friggin customer to follow this lame FUP... including everyone in EK and ill make sure that anyone that i know wont get a slt connection for sure if u dont do this

If this is seen by the TRC or anyone informing them ask SLT to increase their infrastructure/backbone before introducing new packages or publishing advertisements !!!
They are still having the hardware used in 1990s and starting to boast about high-speed ADSL. They live in a dream and show that dream to ignorant people in Sri Lanka.
When they even cannot handle 512 Kbps how on earth they can give 1 Mbps ???
If TRC have any knowledgeable engineers work that out.
It's understandable to even a grade 1 school child.
It's sad that SLT shows absolute No respect to it's customers & cheat them as fools...!!!
