anyone noticed the internet slowness when browsing sites hosted in USA and EUROPE today? seems like traffic is going through Singapore.

yes machan I've noticed this too. Seems like routing paths are changed for some reason.

Sorry Brother. not possible of using 2 routers to one connection by splitter. but can use 2 routers by connecting through Ethernet cable up to 33 meters in hide way.

SLT Connection

Connection Details

512Kbps Home Package (Unlimited) Should have at least 60KBps when downloading. But it is really slow. Usage doesn't exceed 15GB per month.

Hello guys I have a problem. I am using SLT web family 25gb 8mbps package.. and I still have 12GB of data usage. And the pages seem to load very slow, and I cannot seem to open the a speedtest.net site. I can open it at my uncle's place though.. I called SLT they said to change my DNS settings to the following
Primary DNS - 222.165.160.2
Secondary DNS - 203.115.0.46

I entered the above values and still I cant get the proper speeds, and facebook and twitter does not seem to load pictures at all! And cannot open speedtest.net site as well..

Can someone tell me a solution? and do I need to change the DNS settings in my Router setup as well? SLT didnt mention anything about that though..

hapoo dont use SLT DNS , use 8 8 8 8 and 8 8 4 4. SLT DNS servers throttles every byte, you only get good speeds for facebood youtube and slt web site only, every other site you get 1/2 speeds. those fuckers will rot before die :angry:

Thanks for the reply, but I tried all Google and OpenDNS servers.. Still the problem persists... I just cannot seem to open speedtest.net at all.. and all the pages open and stay loading forever.. The same problem in my s2 phone also via wifi... Any other problems here?

try to ping few sites through cmd
start type cmd >
ping www.google.lk -t
see if there's packet loss

Thanks for the reply... SNR downstream - 32.3dB, upstream - 27.1dB... And today after 3 days of repeated calling a SLT guy came and just checked in a singapore based speed test site and said there is no problem, and just left.. I am so disappointed... Basically my twitter feed does not load images at all. But the same images load at my friend's place using the same package same router and it loads in my 3g phone as well. This is very weird...
