Recently there has been daily power outages in the Katubedda Moratuwa grid. These outages come after providing power to the Kzone building which was newly built and thus far running on a generator.
Yesterday there was a power outage from 8AM to 8.10AM.. Then another from 11.30AM to 2.10PM. Now today another outage has occord at 1.25PM. I contacted the LECO and they say that the power has been shut off by the CEB.
Who are we to complain too?
There are rumors that the Kzone building cannot be hosted on the Moratuwa grid due to its high demand. And despite advice not to certain political individuals have forced the LECO to supply power to the Kzone on the stained power grid. These individuals are said to have large shares in the John Keells group.
