Any president, no matter he likes or dislikes, has to allow the MPs for corrution. only the scale may be differnt. If they are not given a chance for corruption they won't support that president.

Even to end executive presidency if SF dsnt get 2/3 signatures from the parliament they can never change it. without allowing corruption he can't get support. If he changes it into a ceremonial presidentcy, can SF do a thing??? So do you think he will end Executive presidency? So if he dsnt end it, will JVP support him.? If corruption is not allowed will UNP support.? So what can SF do alone??

I don't mean that we should ignore corruption. But it cannot be done as simply as we think. It cannot be done by mere autocracy. "Gamee chandiyek" wela ratak karanna ba. (tika dawasak puluwan wei)

A president has to be tactfull, cunning, shrewed, attractive, to win international support. We can't survive alone as a country. It would have been different in king Dutugemunu's age. But just a "Saradiyel" can't rule a country.

SF is a "game chandiya" only. Kata ariyama katha karanne monawada danne na. Ehema baha "rajya nayakayek" unama. Kenthi gihin katha karanna ba, in front of public. IT's a different role. Eka wachanayak waradunoth athi. Kenthiyen ratak karanna ba. Ehema puluwan issara raja kaale. King Dutugemunu wage. Eth dan ehema ba.

I know that it's not an excuse to do corruption. But the gain he brought to Sri Lanka is bigger than what he or his followers stole.

The achievement MR brought to Sri Lanka is greater than what he stole. He should be given a chance.

If the other option (SF) is the best, we may forget about MR's contribution and vote SF. But his party also is no better than MR's party.


So what should be our option? Danna yakaada- nodanna yakaada?


SF ta chande dunna kiyala corruption nawattannath ba. Ehenam aluthen 1000% pure MPlath ganna one. He's only a raging ruler. A raging ruler can't rule a country for long. So the better option is MR. Waradi thiyenawa. Kohoma hari waradi adukaragattoth he'd be the greatest leader.

MR nathnam ada apata rata na. Believe it or not. Prabhakaran may be still alive.

Yes Machan ...You have true points but then again all the corruption and bureaucracy tarnishes the President's good name and will.....

Would we want to put our Nation at Stake and the future by letting corruption survive another 8 years......

We'll we be able to survive till then????

We survived the 30 Years of War Thanks to the Armed Forces...

But will we survive the next 8 Years???

What will happen to the country's future???

Winning the War is a Service to the Country as a Patriotic President responsible for the Democracy and the right to life on a diversified society it's his responsibility, but it should not be used when choosing a correct leader to build a sustainable Economy and Anti Corruption propaganda,

And the Candidate should not use it as a point to win the hearts of the people...

My Question is After 4 Years of Such Corruption being going on inside the Government which has never been occurred in such magnitude,

Should we expect anything lesser for the next 8 years with the Same Leadership and 114 Ministers???
